ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE...

Family operated for more than 85 years, White Rose Bar & Grill has been serving generations of guests in historic downtown York, Pennsylvania. White Rose opened its doors on North Beaver Street in 1933 as The Beaver Inn, owned and operated by the grandparents of Tom Sibol, White Rose's current owner. In 1944, Tom's grandparents sold the business to his parents, who operated the business for close to four decades before selling it to Tom.

"It's an honor to see the development and growth of not only my family but also my staff," Tom says. "There's a variety of creative people we have here as a team." An integral part of that team are the members of his own family: daughters Laura and Natalie.

In 2008, Jeremiah Anderson became a partner in the business and now serves as co-owner and chief operating officer of the company. In 2016, the White Rose Restaurant Group opened the doors to Rockfish Public House on North George Street in downtown York. The restaurant features a full-service bar and serves the area's freshest seafood primarily from the Atlantic Coast and Gulf of Mexico.

Over the years, White Rose Bar & Grill has expanded its physical footprint on the corner of North Beaver and West Philadelphia streets to serve its equally expanding base of guests who come from York and beyond to escape the ordinary dining experience.

The Sibol family's commitment to serving the community is always focused on innovation and building bonds with family.
